Entyti Medical ("the app", "we", "us") is a shop-management app for independent chemists and pharmacies, operated by Entyti. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Information we collect
- Account information: the email address and shop details you provide when you create and sign in to your shop account.
- Business data you enter: your inventory, batches, sales, bills, customers and related records. This is your shop's operating data.
- Camera: used only when you choose to scan a medicine strip. The captured image is sent to our extraction service to read product details (name, batch, expiry, MRP, pack) and is not used for any other purpose.
- Microphone: used only when you use voice add. Your speech is converted to text to find or add a product. We do not record or store audio for other purposes.
How we use your data
We use your data only to provide the app's features: billing, inventory and batch tracking, reporting and profit calculations, and syncing your records to your account so they are available across your devices. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, and the app contains no third-party advertising SDKs.
Where your data is stored
Your account and business data are stored on our managed cloud database provider (Supabase) under access controls that keep your shop's data private to your account. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Data sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app (cloud database and the AI extraction service used for strip scanning and voice), and only to the extent needed to provide those features. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, from Settings in the app or from this page, which also lists exactly what is deleted, what we must keep for tax records, and how long it takes.
Children
The app is intended for business use by shop owners and staff and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
